FICO Looops in with ERN

US-based predictive analytics and decision management software firm FICO has announced a partnership with UK company ERN, creator of the real-time big data platform Looop, to offer clients the ability to run highly personalized marketing based on individual consumer needs and preferences.

FICO - formerly known as Fair Isaac - provides a range of analytics products including the FICO Score, which has become a standard measure of consumer credit risk in the US. The firm's Analytic Offer Manager and Customer Dialogue Manager solutions will now be integrated with Looop, to give financial services and retail sector marketers the ability to target merchant-funded marketing at customers based on what and when they are deemed most likely to buy. Delivery is via a mobile app. Initially, the partnership will focus on the financial services market in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Don Peterson, VP and General Manager of Marketing Solutions at FICO, says ERN was chosen for its superior big data technology and specifically Looop's shopping basket analysis capabilities, as well as its 'vast scalability and real-time decisioning capability.'

Dan Brassington, CEO and co-founder of ERN, says the partnership will offer marketers 'the most complete transactional Big Data analytics platform available for generating revenue from merchant-funded offers'.
