Target Research Group Bought by Employees

US-based full-service agency Target Research Group, Inc. has released details of its recent buyout by its own employees, led by new CEO Greg Spagna.

Target's employees are now its ownersFounded in 1986, the firm works on concept, product, advertising, and package testing, tracking and strategic research for sectors including food, personal care, financial services and healthcare; and also has a Legal Research Group specialising in claims substantiation, intellectual property disputes and misleading advertising issues.

Spagna comments: 'Our reason for purchasing Target is to have full control over the future development and growth of our company and to allow the employees the opportunity to share directly in our success. As an employee-owned company, we will be even more dedicated to providing our clients with the quality and service they have come to expect from Target.' Spagna says the company will maintain its strategic alliances with its field partners, a key component in its success, and says clients should not notice any difference in day-to-day operations as a result of the ownership change.
