Qualtrics Opens EMEA HQ in Dublin

October 2 2013

US-based Qualtrics, which provides software for DIY data collection and analysis, has expanded to Europe with the opening of an office in Dublin, Ireland. The firm has also confirmed plans to create 150 new jobs in the EMEA region within the next 36 months.

Ryan SmithFounded in 2002 and based in Utah, Qualtrics offers software for the creation of online surveys and for statistical analysis of the results. Last year, the firm received a $70m venture capital investment which it has since been using to expand its SaaS products 'beyond market research'.

Ireland is the base for Qualtrics' first international office, and was selected because of its reputation for being a 'popular destination' for US technology companies looking to expand into EMEA - including Google, Facebook and Twitter. Qualtrics is currently recruiting science, business and mathematics graduates for a variety of sales, support and technical roles in the new location.

CEO Ryan Smith (pictured) comments: 'We're seeing tremendous demand for our technology in EMEA, and Ireland provides us with the perfect entry point to Europe, and from which to expand internationally. Dublin offers significant opportunity in terms of the available talent and resources needed to grow our business.'
