Orchidea Re-Launches with Online Panel Roll Out

Gurgaon, India-based MR agency Orchidea Research has re-opened with new owners and with the launch of online panels in the US, Canada, UK, India, China, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Spain, France, and Germany.

Founded in 1989, Orchidea Research initially conducted 'pen and paper' projects on behalf of the Indian government before closing down in 2001. The company has now been re-launched with a digital focus by former Toluna/Paradigm Sample Project Manager Vaibhav Kushwaha (pictured), and Harry Singh, who is a relative of the firm's original founder Swaran Singh.

As well as the office in India, Orchidea Research is opening facilities in North America and Australia, and will shortly be recruiting for a global operations team. The firm has already developed a proprietary panel management and sample management tool, and as well as setting up eleven panels and recruiting more than three million respondents, the company is planning to expand to 40 more markets in the coming months.
