ORC Ramps Up Singapore Team

US-based customer and employee research specialist ORC International has appointed Matthew Au as Managing Director, China at its office in Singapore, where it has also hired Jane Guo as Senior Qualitative Research Manager.

Founded in 1938, ORC International has fifteen offices across the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific region from where it offers primary and secondary research, advisory services, social analytics, omnibus services and expertise across a range of industries.

Au joins with more than 20 years' market research experience. He spent the past six years at Nielsen in China, where he latterly served as Vice President Consumer Research, responsible for all aspects of the business, team management, development of the team in Guangzhou, and for the telecoms and sports verticals.

In his new role, he is responsible for growth of the China business, line management, and professional development of the team across the country. He also works with senior management of other Asia operations.

Guo previously worked at The Leading Edge as Senior Account Manager, prior to which, she served as Senior Qualitative Research Executive at Ipsos, and SRE at IFOP Asia in Shanghai.

She joins the team in Singapore to strengthen ORC's regional qualitative offer, and support the firm's growth plans across South East Asia.
