B2B Influencer Targeting Platform Unveiled

November 5 2013

In the UK, software development lab Gumbyte has launched a 'social intelligence' platform called CrowdVu, to identify B2B influencers from their social media conversations, and segment these individuals by sector and region.

CrowdVu Profiles B2B InfluencersGumbyte, which is part of marketing automation consultancy CleverTouch Group, has built CrowdVu around a 'person matching engine' combining social media analytics, big data and machine learning. The tool integrates with social media platforms to identify profiles by conversation and level of influence; then matches these profiles to business contacts in commercial databases, to enable sales and marketing professionals to identify and segment their target audience.

Product Director Nathan Windle comments: 'The application allows organisations to get a better handle on their social demand generation by leveraging the rich and untapped resource of social media. CrowdVu is a significant step in providing a framework for structuring and making sense of unstructured social platforms.'
