Ipsos MediaCT Hires Hodgson for emma Leadership Role

Ipsos MediaCT has appointed Adam Hodgson as Research and Operations Director for its contract with The Readership Works' newspaper and magazine readership survey, emma.

Adam HodgsonThe agency was awarded the emma contract (Enhanced Media Metrics Australia) in 2010, but the newspaper industry-funded programme, which examines readership across all newspaper and magazine formats including off- and online, was only rolled out earlier this month.

Hodgson (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' media research experience in Australia and overseas. Most recently, he worked at Aegis Media as Director of Analytics for the Asia region, prior to which he was Director of Research & Analytics at Mediacom Business Science. He began his research career with AGB where he worked in the UK, Malaysia and Australia, establishing the television PeopleMeter service and the AGB Panorama service in Australia.

In his new role, Hodgson is responsible for leading the technical development of the emma audience insights service, with a particular focus on industry consultation.
