Mass Relevance Opens in London

US-based social media insight provider Mass Relevance has opened an office in London's Oxford Street, to help European clients integrate data from relevant social media conversations into their media, marketing and advertising campaigns.

Sam DeckerThe firm, which was co-founded in 2010 by Sam Decker (pictured), the former CMO of word-of-mouth agency Bazaarvoice, identifies and captures brand-relevant conversations happening across a variety of social media. The firm partners with social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, to source and filter the conversations considered most relevant to a brand, and resulting data can be used, for instance, to help broadcasters use social media within their programmes for voting and viewer feedback.

Decker comments on the UK launch: 'We see great opportunity for our platform to help sports organizations, entertainment providers, media companies, retailers, brands and many others better connect with savvy UK consumers. Our growing London-based team is already working with UK clients to maximize their digital marketing budgets, particularly as they put more resources towards social TV, social content, and other evolving marketing strategies.'
