Social Media / TV Firm Seevibes Buys into Europe

Canadian social media analyst Seevibes, which focuses on TV-related conversations, has acquired French opposite number TvTweet, as the first step in its expansion into Europe.

Thomas LandspurgSeevibes, billed as 'Canada's only solution for measuring and analyzing TV's social media audience', helps advertisers choose shows matching their target audience through a comprehensive analysis of Facebook and Twitter comments regarding TV shows.

TvTweet was founded in Bordeaux in 2011 and has bases in seven European countries.

TvTweet founder Thomas Landspurg (pictured) becomes Director of Technology at Seevibes, and comments: 'With the acquisition of France's TvTweet, Seevibes becomes a major player in Europe and the only one to offer a complete solution, both in real-time TV show analysis and in performance and audience profiling.
