YouGov Doubling Headcount in France

December 9 2013

Two years on from its launch, YouGov's French office has announced a substantial expansion of its staff, to date adding Jean-Romain Lehr as Marketing & Business Development Manager, Diane Thebaudeau as Research Manager and Lucie Schweizer as Research Executive.

YouGov Doubling Headcount in FranceYouGov announced the new Paris office in late October 2011, and appointed Julien Chevignon to lead it. Since then, the firm's proprietary panel in the country has grown from around 50,000 to nearly 100,000 members, and rolled out the BrandIndex and omnibus services, enjoying a successful year 2012-2013. The new additions bring the total staff in the country to seven, with another hire planned for the near future.

Lehr has worked in media for the last fifteen years, for firms including Le Figaro newspaper; and will now help Chevignon to expand the business.

Thebaudeau, who has spent the past six years with Ipsos in the UK and Canada, will lead the Omnibus and Custom Research teams. Schweizer joins the French quant research team after a Master's degree in Market Research and 6 months within YouGov UK.

Chevignon comments: 'YouGov has witnessed a very strong 2013. Our ambition is to continue to expand, and reinforce our presence and visibility in France in 2014. We are very happy to welcome these new members in our team; their solid background and complementary profiles perfectly match our identity and our projections of sustained growth.'
