Tobii to Test Cloud-Based Eye-Tracking Solutions

December 11 2013

Eye-tracking specialist Tobii has opened an exclusive beta program for a new web-based research solution, Tobii Track, designed to enable users to conduct research in any environment including across the cloud.

Tom EnglundTobii Track will enable researchers to design and conduct large-scale, widely distributed eye-tracking projects focused on any image, video or web site. For example, researchers will be able to measure the effectiveness of new ads, package designs, or TV commercials simultaneously across multiple geographic regions of the world.

All data is automatically uploaded to the firm's Tobii Cloud solution, and is immediately merged and ready for analysis. Through the cloud, researchers will also be able to distribute eye trackers to participants in any location, while participants will be able to administer their own test sessions without dedicated personnel to run the equipment.

Tom Englund (pictured), President of Analysis Solutions, comments: 'This is a game-changing moment for eye-tracking research. Expanding our offering to also include cloud-based solutions, such as Tobii Track, will give users the ability to complete critical eye-tracking research in any location, at any time - making testing easier, faster and more efficient.'
