Ipsos has confirmed that former TNS Regional CEO Judith Passingham will join its online data collection arm Ipsos Interactive Services (IIS) as Global CEO on 2nd January 2014. IIS was formerly part of Global Operations, led by Stewart Jones, and will now operate as a separate business.

Judith PassinghamIIS has more than 4.5 million panellists across 46 countries, with panels covering all major markets in Europe, North and South America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The division employs 800 online researchers who service all regions.

Passingham (pictured) will join after seventeen years at TNS, latterly as CEO, Northern & Eastern Europe, responsible for a team of 3,500 employees. Earlier, she was CEO TNS Europe (Custom), and MD of TNS Worldpanel. She began her career in 1983 on the BMRB graduate recruitment programme.

In her new role, Passingham will have full global responsibility for all IIS services and will be a member of the Ipsos Management Board. She will report to Co-President Didier Truchot, who comments: 'Judith's track record in developing new business and services at a global level, together with her strong capacity to ensure local implementation, made her the ideal candidate to lead IIS.'

Jones who retains his role of CEO Global Operations minus IIS, will work closely with Passingham. He joined the firm in 2008 from IRI, having previously held senior roles at GE, where he worked for more than two decades.
