Former NASDAQ Exec Takes Senior Role at Potentiate

In Sydney, Australia, 'data intelligence' specialist Potentiate has appointed Tim Pickard as Director of Visualization and Analytics.

Potentiate was launched in 2010 by three Australian research and technology businesses: Infotools Australia, panel management and survey deployment specialist Plenari and online sample firm SampleWorx. As well as its offices in Australia, the company has operations in Japan and Malaysia.

Pickard (pictured) joins from NASDAQ OMX, the firm which owns the NASDAQ stock market, where he led the Asia Pacific operations team, providing investor relations, PR and multimedia solutions to a large number of listed companies in Australia and Asia. Earlier, he was Head of Operations at Thomson Reuters; General Manager of Operations, Asia Pacific at Computershare Analytics; and before moving from the UK to Australia, he was a Securities Associate at Royal Bank of Scotland Share Registry.
