Euclid Rolls Out Zero-Cost Shopper Analytics Tool

January 10 2014

US shopper analytics specialist Euclid has introduced a free self-service version of its customer analytics platform, which can deliver data from all bricks and mortar locations.

Will SmithLaunched in 2010 by the execs behind Urchin (the firm later sold to Google which became Google Analytics), Euclid uses existing Wi-Fi technology to gather shopper data and trends and deliver this information to bricks-and-mortar retailers. Last year, the firm introduced an off-line shopper analytics package called Euclid Zero, and closed a $17.3m round of financing.

The new 'Euclid Express' tool gives users instant access to metrics about activity in and around their locations, allowing them to assess the off-line impact of marketing activities, identify trends in store performance, and improve the overall shopping experience. Data can be shared across an unlimited number of dashboards and can be downloaded to Excel.

CEO Will Smith (pictured) comments: 'Retailers lack even the basic information to understand customer behavior in their stores. They need to go beyond analyzing transactions and basic door counts to create better customer experiences and improve store performance. Euclid Express provides access to these fundamental insights.'
