Former TNS Chief Exec Pedro Ros Joins Creston

UK-based insight and communications group Creston has hired former TNS CEO Pedro Ros for the newly created role of Head of Strategic Insight.

Pedro RosCreston's Insight division comprises full service agency ICM and product development specialist Marketing Sciences, and saw revenues up 10% to £6.1m in the six months ending 30th September.

At TNS, Ros (pictured) was Global CEO and subsequently Chairman. He joined TNS in 1985, and during his tenure with the firm also served as Global Head of Worldpanel, Regional Director for Southern Europe, France, Middle East & Africa, and Latin America; MD Global Clients & Sectors; and CEO North America. In his new role, Ros will help expand Creston's Insight division into new global markets and develop new research offerings to meet client needs.

Creston CEO Don Elgie comments: 'Pedro's experience in the market research sector will be a great asset to the group, particularly in ensuring that Insight continues to strategically support our communications companies, whilst working together in meeting clients' needs.'

Last month, Creston announced that Keith Bates is to step down from the role of Head of Creston Insight, to seek 'new challenges' outside the group.
