Ipsos Makes Censydiam Management Changes

Ipsos MarketQuest has appointed Jerry Forristal as Global Head of its Censydiam Institute; a unit responsible for training and further development of the Censydiam model. He replaces Sue Phillips, who has been named Global Head of Insight at qual specialist Ipsos UU.

The Censydiam model measures those attitudes and emotions that drive customer purchasing motivation, using deep psychological methodologies and psychodynamic mapping and techniques. The institute develops and deploys new global products and offerings, while training new practitioners.

Forristal (pictured) takes up his new position from his previous role as SVP, Head of Client Interaction at Ipsos, prior to which, he served as Global Account Director at the Kantar Group. Earlier, he was VP at i to i research, Director of European Research at Leo Burnett in London, Research Manager at Hallmark Cards in Rotterdam, and he served as Senior Statistician at AT&T.

In his new role, as well as leading the Censydiam Institute, Forristal will also lead the global implementation of Ipsos' Client Interaction Model across the MarketQuest division, which focuses on understanding consumers, shoppers and markets. He reports to Douwe Rademaker, Global CEO of Ipsos MarketQuest, who comments: 'In addition to being a strategic thinker for over 20 years, Jerry is also a strong researcher and passionate story-teller who leverages insights from various sources of information to deliver recommendations that inspire our clients.'

Forristal succeeds Phillips, who in her new position, will continue to lead the qual branch of Censydiam, while working with the company's qual teams and developing 'activation workshops' for Ipsos UU clients. She has 30 years' qual experience, having previously founded Eureka! Research, and worked in the Asia Pacific region for SRG Asia/AC Nielsen, and for Synovate.
