TNS UK Appoints Das to Lead Marketing Science Team

In the UK, TNS has appointed Sunando Das as Head of Marketing Science, replacing Ian Brace who is to retire at the end of April.

Sunando DasDas (pictured) joins from Ipsos, where he was Global Chief Research Officer for the Marketing Understanding practice. Prior to this he spent five years at Research International, during which time he served as Global Director for Brand Experience, and led the Marketing Science Centre for Asia. Earlier in his career, Das worked for NFO Middle East and Africa and for IMRB International.

From 3rd March, Das will lead the Marketing Science department, whose team consists of quant researchers and statisticians. UK Board Director Phil Sutcliffe commented: 'Sunando is highly intelligent, has a strong track record of methodological innovation and backs this up with a strong commercial focus. He was the stand-out candidate during the recruitment process to replace Ian, and I'm very pleased he has agreed to join us.'

Prior to joining TNS in 2004, Brace worked for NFO UK as Director of Research Methods, and spent seventeen years at BJM Research and Consultancy. He is also a past Chairman of the Market Research Benevolent Association.
