Borderless Access Launches Chile Panel

Emerging markets specialist Borderless Access has extended its coverage in Latin America with the launch of a new consumer panel in Chile. Seven more emerging markets are targeted for launch this year.

Founded more than ten years ago, the company currently operates consumer and B2B panels with 1.4 million members, along with an IT panel and niche audience panels across the travel, automobile, finance and mobile segments. Earlier this year, the firm launched a Polish service with more than 20,000 members.

The company's new proprietary panel in Chile is its thirteenth so far worldwide, and adds to existing services in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico with a total of 400,000 members. Brazil and Mexico also feature in its 20,000 plus-member health and wellness online panels alongside Russia, India and China.

Commenting on the launch, company President Ruchika Gupta (pictured) says, 'This year we have set ourselves an ambitious goal. We are planning to expand our coverage to twenty emerging markets in 2014. Chile with its optimistic business environment, high internet penetration and increasing purchasing power was the next logical step for us in Latin America.'
