Former Nielsen MD Sarang Panchal has acquired a 'significant stake' in MRSS India, and has been named its Chief Executive Officer.
MRSS India was set up in 2012 by full service agency Majestic MRSS in partnership with Panchal (pictured), to offer Indian marketers local access to technology for consumer insight generation. Prior to his promotion to CEO, Panchal served as the firm's Chief Mentor, before which he worked for Nielsen for eleven years, latterly as MD Asia Pacific. Earlier, he held senior positions at Dun & Bradstreet, MRAS Burke, and Procter & Gamble India.
Commenting on his new role, Panchal said: 'We are working aggressively to make MRSS India India's premier digital research agency. We have an amazing slew of products that will allow our clients to comprehensively fathom the voice of the market and get results in a brisk manner and I am really excited that we finally have products and services that can unlock sales potential by engaging with consumers.'
