GMI's Asilzadeh Launches 'Smart Outsourcing' Agency

Former GMI/Lightspeed operations exec Mitra Asilzadeh has set up a new firm called Smart Outsourcing and Consultancy (SOC), providing online market research, survey programming and data analytics services, along with sample procurement via specialised panel companies.

London-based Asilzadeh has more than twenty years' experience in market research, technology and online research. During her eight years at GMI, she led the development of client operations in Europe, and later joined the firm's global team to build and manage its outsourcing services. Prior to this she worked at SPSS, managing client operations and some of the company's key accounts. She began her career at Quantime, before its acquisition by SPSS.

At SOC, she is joined by former GMI colleague Stavrula Eleftheriadou, who previously served as GMI's Panel Development Manager, responsible for building panel assets across EMEA.

Commenting on the launch, Asilzadeh said: 'Although we are a new company, our experience and expertise in this area spans over twenty years. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we aim to build strong and in-depth partnerships with clients and support them to expand their business.'
