YouGov Appoints Nordic CEO

Online research pioneer YouGov has appointed Bianca Bruhn as CEO of its Nordic business, based in its Copenhagen office and with responsibility for the firm's operations in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Based in the UK, the company also has operations in the US, France, Germany and the Middle East.

Bruhn (pictured) was previously Managing Director of the Nordic region of technology market intelligence group IDC. She joined the firm in 1999 and worked in management, sales and product development roles, initially in San Francisco, Milan and London.

YouGov CEO Stephan Shakespeare says of the appointment: 'We are delighted to welcome Bianca to YouGov. Her understanding of syndicated data products and breadth of experience in leadership and client-facing roles in a global information provider will help us further to strengthen our business in the Nordic region and especially to grow our data products and services there in line with our Group strategy.'
