Former JRA Execs Launch New UK Agency

Mark Lasbury and Sarah Jones, former employees of Nottingham-based JRA Research, have launched a new agency called ampersand research.

Mark Lasbury and Sarah JonesLasbury started his research career at JRA in 1996, and most recently worked as an AD managing all the company's field and tab projects for both international and domestic clients. Jones spent fifteen years at the firm, and most recently was responsible for qualitative research and for the firm's 'presentations that wow' initiative.

The new agency aims to provide 'considered research delivered with a fantastic client experience'. Its services for B2B and B2C clients will range from a full service offer to general guidance on how research can benefit an organisation.

Commenting on the launch, Lasbury and Jones said: 'After an amazing chapter at JRA Research we felt it was time to embark on our own journey in the research industry. We are happiest when we can get our hands dirty and work directly with clients providing a considered and thorough approach to research. We recognise that clients want director presence and involvement at all stages of the research process - a need that is not always met by agencies.'
