Targetbase Launches Customer Relationship Consultancy

Omnicom-owned customer intelligence specialist Targetbase has partnered with advisory firm Customer Helix to launch a new consultancy called 'Targetbase Element', with the aim of helping clients put customers at the center of their businesses.

Dave FranklandCustomer Helix, which is led by former Forrester Research Director Dave Frankland (pictured), offers research and advisory services to help clients better understand their customers and deliver 'superior' customer experience. Through the new consultancy, Frankland will initially evaluate four areas: the desired customer relationship strategy for the client; how well the company executes on that strategy; the consumer's expectation in a relationship with the firm; and how well those expectations are being met.

Targetbase CEO Mark Wright says the new firm will also help clients analyze the information, and use customer knowledge to create deeper relationships, better products and services.

Frankland comments: 'Going back to my Forrester days, I was always impressed with Targetbase's offering, so I'm flattered to be brought on board to help them establish a more formal and standalone strategy consulting group. I look forward to bringing my thought leadership to the table and have begun by conducting a survey of 200 customer-facing professionals to better understand their current and desired approach to customer relationships.'
