UK insight and communications group Creston says it is expecting a drop in revenue to £74.8m for the year ended 31st March 2014, compared with £75.2m a year earlier.
Creston comprises three divisions - Communications, Health and Insight - with the last made up of full service agency ICM Research, fieldwork division ICM Direct, and sensory testing specialist Marketing Sciences.
Barrie Brien (pictured), Group CEO, says of the figures: 'I am pleased with the second half performance in which we have achieved revenue growth over both the first half and the same prior year period, putting us in line with consensus. Following the busy period of pitching in the first half of the year, new business wins had a positive impact as expected.'
Creston will announce preliminary results for the year on Wednesday 11th June.
Separately, non-executive Chairman David Grigson, who has been a member of the Board since November 2009, will be stepping down after the AGM on 8th September 2014. He will be replaced by Board member Richard Huntingford, who will also become Chairman of the Nominations Committee. The firm is seeking an additional Board member to take Huntingford's role as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
