US marketing tech firm Lionbridge Technologies has acquired Costa Rican digital marketing services agency Darwin Zone, which provides research and analytics in addition to SEO and social media services. The cash deal was valued at c.$2.4m.

Sergio RestrepoDarwin Zone, which was founded by former Google and Procter & Gamble exec Sergio Restrepo (pictured) in 2011, now employs around 70 members of staff.
