Sheldrake Named Chief Operating Officer at BDRC

London-based B2B specialist BDRC Group has promoted Richard Sheldrake to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.

Sheldrake (pictured) has been working with BDRC since 1999, when he and the company established telephone and online research agency Perspective Research Services (PRS) as a joint venture. BDRC acquired the remainder of Perspective in 2007, with Sheldrake retaining his role as its MD and becoming a Board Director and shareholder of BDRC.

Sheldrake also oversees two other group businesses: specialist qual field and viewing studio business Viewpoint; and recently launched online specialist Alligator Research; and holds a senior management role with financial, retail and telecoms research specialist BDRC Jones Donald in Australia.

CEO Dr Cris Tarrant comments: 'Richard works tirelessly on behalf of the BDRC Group and has played a major role in its growth. I am delighted to recognise his significant contribution and commitment to the broader group by appointing him COO.'

Separately, Sheldrake and Ian Stevens have become directors of holding company BDRC Group Ltd.
