YouGov Strengthens London Team

In London, online specialist YouGov has promoted Paul Marshall to Director in the Media & Technology team, and Simon Mottram to Lead Consulting Director. In addition, James Starkie has re-joined the firm as Business Development Consultant in the Reputation team.

Paul Marshall, Simon Mottram and James StarkieMost recently, Marshall was Research Director for YouGov in the Middle East, where he worked for six years, and managed a team conducting social, political and media research. Prior to this, he worked for Synovate UAE in Dubai, and spent nearly a decade at TNS Media. In his new role, Marshall will be responsible for major media accounts, and for general development of the firm's media offer.

Mottram joined the firm in 2012 as Financial Services Consulting Director, having previously led the Financial Services, Media and Technology team at Research International. As Lead Consulting Director, he will oversee the sector-focused teams' propositions and business development activities, while continuing to lead the Financial Services team until a new director is appointed.

Starkie re-joins after eighteen months as a Consultant at rival London-based firm Populus, and more than a year as Head of Brand, PR and Marketing Agencies at Canadean Consumer. He previously spent nearly five years at YouGov in a variety of roles in the UK and Middle East, which included two years in Iraq and eighteen months in Dubai.
