Zenoss Hires Former Vovici Leader Greg Stock as CEO

Former Vovici Chairman and CEO Greg Stock has joined IT monitoring and analytics software provider Zenoss as Chief Executive Officer, replacing co-founder Bill Karpovich who will remain on the firm's Board of Directors.

Stock (pictured) joined consumer speech and text analytics specialist Vovici (now Verint) in 2009, with more than twenty years' technology industry and marketing experience. During his career, he also served as President and CEO of network security solutions firm Mirage Networks, prior to which he was VP of Marketing at trade management specialist Vastera. More recently, he was Chairman of SaaS mobile broadband company Macheen.

In his new role, Stock will focus on expanding Zenoss' market share among large enterprises and service providers. Karpovich comments: 'Greg is an inspiring leader with a tenacious approach to driving growth and market leadership.
