Nielsen Unveils 'Homescan Premium'

Nielsen has announced an enhanced version of its Homescan consumer purchase panel. Homescan Premium taps the company's proprietary platforms and methods 'to create a million plus consumer panel', and promises unique in-depth analysis of consumer purchase behavior.

The new service uses retailers' loyalty information and offers CPG manufacturers and retailers a measure of the health of their brands and a detailed benchmark for in-store performance against the rest of the market.

SVP Consumer and Shopper Analytics Marty Siewert comments: 'In order to take decisive and well-informed action on consumer behavior trends, marketers need a granular and comprehensive view of key consumer segments. Nielsen's Homescan Premium delivers this precision, allowing retailers and manufacturers to gain early visibility into everything from new product introductions to the impact of their marketing investments.'
