ORC International Opens Office near Paris

Customer and employee research specialist ORC International has opened an office in Sevres, south west of Paris, where it has appointed former Ipsos exec Anne Lavielle to head up the new operation.

Founded in 1938 in the US, ORC International offers a range of customer, employee, market, product research, and business intelligence services across the States, Europe and Asia Pacific. Its new office is the firm's first in continental Europe, and its sixteenth in the group, which includes operations in London, Manchester, the US, Australia, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Lavielle (pictured) joins with fifteen years' MR industry experience, the past twelve of which were spent in sales and business development roles at Ipsos/Synovate. Earlier, she served as France Office Manager at Modalis Research Technologies, and as International Surveys Manager at ADCE.

In her new role, Lavielle and the Sevres team will initially focus on employee research, and customer research in the future. MD Richard Cornelius comments: 'Anne is a truly great addition to ORC International and her skills and experience will enable us to develop our presence further. Her joining marks an exciting time as she leads the way with ORC International's further expansion into Europe, heading up our first office on the continent.'
