Ipsos has reported a 5.9% drop in first half revenue to EUR 756m, with currency effects responsible for most of the fall (5.1%). In organic terms, second quarter decline all but wiped out the modest gains of the first quarter, giving overall H1 organic growth of 0.1%.
The second quarter accounts for nearly 55% of total H1 revenue, according to Ipsos, and between April and June reported revenue fell 7.1% compared with the same period in 2013 - the first time since the Q1 2013 that Ipsos has reported a fall. Operating profit also fell around 20% to EUR 39.1m.
