Agriculture Analytics Firm AGDATA Acquired

In the US, agricultural data and analytics specialist AGDATA is to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners from previous owner SFW Capital Partners. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Founded in 1985, Charlotte, NC-based AGDATA provides insight and intelligence solutions for US and Canadian agricultural, crop protection and animal health industry organizations. Its AgCelerate solutions enable growers to self-verify their industry profiles, and review, report and manage transactions and licenses for growers.
