Madison Square Garden Gig for Arbitron's Creamer

Former Arbitron CEO Sean Creamer has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of sports, media and entertainment venue business The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) in New York. He takes up his new role on September 1st.

Sean CreamerMSG's venues include Madison Square Garden; The Theater at Madison Square Garden; Radio City Music Hall; the Beacon Theatre; the Forum in Inglewood, CA; The Chicago Theatre; and the Wang Theatre in Boston, MA.

Creamer (pictured) will join from radio ratings giant Arbitron, following the firm's $1.26 billion acquisition by Nielsen. He had worked for the firm since 2005, initially as EVP - Finance & Planning/CFO, having previously held senior financial roles at Laureate International Universities, Exxon Mobil and PwC.

In his new position Creamer will provide strategic financial insight regarding all facets of the business, and be responsible for all of MSG's financial and accounting matters. He will replace Bob Pollichino, who plans to retire from the company later this year.
