Criteo Expands Eichmann's Role

Ad targeting specialist Criteo has expanded Eric Eichmann's role to that of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), succeeding Greg Coleman who has left the company to join online news aggregator BuzzFeed.

Eric EichmannCriteo uses predictive software combined with insights into consumer intent and purchasing habits, to deliver targeted ads in real-time. Last year, the firm acquired mobile analytics company AD-X Tracking, which tracks advertising performance across mobile apps.

Eichmann (pictured) joined Criteo last year, having previously served as COO and President of Living Social, where he was directly responsible for more than 2,500 people in over 23 countries. Prior to this, he was COO of Rosetta Stone, SVP of Advertising Operations at AOL, Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, and MIS Manager for Latin America at Panalpina.

In his expanded role, Eichmann will lead all sales, marketing, product and commercial operations, while continuing to drive Criteo's growth and innovation plans.

Coleman, whom Eichmann replaces, joined Criteo in 2011 after working at the Huffington Post, AOL Time Warner, Netseer, Yahoo!, Readers Digest, Hachette Filipacchi Media, and CBS Magazines.
