Adelphi Acquires Healthcare Research Firm TPSi

Omnicom-owned healthcare marketing agency Adelphi Worldwide has acquired London-based healthcare brand and research agency The Planning Shop international (TPSi), for an undisclosed sum.

Kim HughesTPSi, which also has offices in Philadelphia, uses both qual and quant research techniques to provide consumer-based insight to clients in the pharma and OTC markets. The firm also uses psychology, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), semiotics and anthropology to provide an understanding of motivations.

Through the acquisition, TPSi will be added to Adelphi's portfolio of healthcare solutions. Kim Hughes (pictured), TPSi CEO, comments: 'The fit between Adelphi's product development focus with the brand focus of TPSi provides numerous synergy opportunities.
