Millward Brown Opens Pakistan Office

Ad, media and brand research specialist Millward Brown has opened an office in Karachi, Pakistan, led by Noaman Asar, who joins from fellow WPP company JWT.

Noaman AsarTo date, the firm has been conducting research assignments in Pakistan through its Middle Eastern hub in Dubai, but it is now establishing a permanent presence to better support local, regional and global clients operating in the country.

Asar (pictured) joins as County Manager with more than sixteen years of experience in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Most recently, he worked at WPP-owned JWT in Karachi as Head of Planning, prior to which he was Deputy Director at research-based marketing consultancy Oasis International. He began his career at Procter and Gamble, before taking up the position of Marketing Services and Research Manager at Al-Ghurair Foods, and holding senior roles at Food and Fine Pastries, and Dawnnews TV.

In his new role, Asar will report directly to Prashant Kolleri, MD, Millward Brown Middle East and North Africa. At an event to mark the launch, Charles Foster, Regional MD Africa and Middle East, commented: 'Opening an office in Pakistan, will help the business best serve the needs of our clients' right across this increasingly important region, giving us a really solid foundation from which to grow our client partnerships.'
