Affinity Solutions Buys Targeting Firm 2Go Media

In the US, Affinity Solutions, which analyzes consumer spending data to help clients with their targeted marketing initiatives, has made its first acquisition - Internet marketing tech firm 2Go Media. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jonathon Silver2Go Media's flagship DIY solution, the iDeals Marketing Platform, provides access to an industry source of customer data and analytics through which to measure the buying habits of hundreds of millions of consumers. Data can be dissected to identify patterns and trends, and merchants can then use it to develop and target coupons, deals and loyalty programs.

As part of the acquisition, iDeals Marketing Platform has been integrated into Affinity's Navigator Small Merchant Portal, and former 2Go Media President Ted Mooney has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Affinity's newly formed Small Medium Business team. A total of nine 2Go Media employees have joined Affinity's team, with some based in the company's New York headquarters, and others remaining in 2Go Media's Fort Lauderdale office.
