Former Nielsen Exec Joins Alliance for Audited Media

In the US, former Nielsen exec Joe Hardin has joined The Alliance for Audited Media (AAM) as Vice President of Product Leadership.

Joe HardinThe New York-based AAM independently verifies print and digital circulation and audience information, and provides analytics for mobile apps, web sites and social media, in the US and Canada. The not-for-profit organization was formed in 2012, by the merger of the Audit Bureau of Circulations and the Certified Audit of Circulations.

Hardin (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in market research and product development. Most recently, he served as a Senior Product Director at Nielsen Local, during which time he led initiatives to integrate media and consumer data sets, built data visualization platforms, and developed local and national media products. Prior to this, he held a series of market research positions at Nielsen, Scarborough Research, Kantar Media SRDS and Healthcare Research, and at Strategic Media Research.

In his new role, Hardin is tasked with examining AAM media information and packaging it for the benefit of AAM members and the media industry. He will also be involved in developing new services for the interactive ad arena to address areas such as fraud, non-human traffic, and digital accountability.
