Simpson Carpenter Expands

UK agency Simpson Carpenter has announced two appointments catering for 'recent expansion and anticipated growth in 2015': Weiwei Yang joins as a Senior Research Manager in the pharmaceutical division and Charlotte Donald as an RE in the Major Studies team.

The company was formed in 1998 and has in-depth expertise in the retail, tech, pharmaceutical and automotive sectors.

Yang joins with eight years' healthcare market research experience, including market insight, brand positioning, communication strategy and brand tracking. She worked most recently for two years at medical device and diagnostics specialist Purdie Pascoe; and before that at Holden Pearmain and Huntsworth Health Group.

Head of Healthcare Anna Sawka says Yang has 'an interesting background which will be extremely relevant to the pharma division', and adds: 'we are very much looking forward to tapping into her expertise and expanding the specialisms we offer our clients.'

Donald, a former lawyer, joins from MMR Global Research and will work on high-profile continuous research programmes for clients including Asda, Honda and Lastminute.com.
