Curtain Up on ThinkNow's Hispanic Movie Trailer Test

February 2 2015

Hispanic MR firm ThinkNow Research has announced the launch of MovieLink, which it describes as 'the first agile movie trailer test for the Hispanic Community'.

Mario CarrascoAccording to figures from the Motion Picture Association of America, Hispanics, who make up 17 percent of the population, now purchase 25 percent of the movie tickets sold in the US.

The new service addresses the fast-moving nature of the sector, allowing the firm to receive a theatrical trailer on a Friday and deliver a topline report back to the client the following Monday, with results from both Spanish-dominant Hispanics and bilingual Hispanics drawn from its proprietary online panel, DigaYGane.com .

Managing Partner Mario Xavier Carrasco comments: 'We are excited to announce our agile Hispanic movie trailer testing as an extension of our ThinkNow Link copy testing product. We have experienced a surge of requests from the major movie studios to develop a product that gave a nationally representative read of US Hispanics inclusive of Spanish-dominant Hispanics in a short time frame. Being located in Burbank, CA has allowed us to meet with the major movie studios and develop a product targeted specifically to their needs.'

The full service firm focuses on US Hispanic, Latin American and Multicultural research, and offers a monthly Hispanic Omnibus survey and the creation of customized online Hispanic communities. It is online at www.thinknowresearch.com .
