Three Senior Hires for NPD Group

US-based retail tracking provider The NPD Group has appointed Robby Hart as Head of Analytics and Modeling; Steve Thornberry as Senior Vice President of Solutions Consulting; and Jim Hirshfield as Senior Vice President of Solutions Architecture.

Karyn SchoenbartHart joins from Omnicom-owned Hall & Partners, prior to which he held senior roles at Ipsos OTX, Harris Interactive and Lieberaman Research Worldwide, and also worked on business analytics projects at the Home Shopping Network. In his new role, Hart will oversee the development and delivery of customized solutions combining marketing science innovation with business and marketing guidance.

Thornberry previously held sales leadership roles at IRI and Nielsen, focusing on matching technology and analytic solutions to business issues, and specializing in the consumer packaged goods sector. At The NPD Group, Thornberry will work closely with clients to assess opportunities, solve problems and drive growth.

Hirshfield also joins from Hall & Partners, where he served as Head of US Analytics. In his new position, he will focus on the development of syndicated solutions addressing specific business needs such as marketing, sales and strategic planning.

All three report to George Terhanian, Group President and Chief Research and Analytics Officer.
