Opinium Hires Consumer Goods Head

London-based full service agency Opinium has hired former Millward Brown director Steve Looney to head its Consumer Goods offering.

Steve LooneyFounded in 2007, Opinium offers qual and quant research and consultancy across a range of sectors, and owns and manages panels of UK consumers, IFAs and small businesses. It also runs an omnibus which interviews 2000 UK adults in each wave.

Looney (pictured) joins after twelve years at Millward Brown, where he latterly served as a Client Director for the Unilever, Kerry Foods and Aldi accounts. He began his career with the firm in 2001, before leaving for a two-year spell at Nielsen, where he worked as Client Team Leader, before returning to Millward Brown in 2010.
