Language Connect Expands to Singapore

Language Connect, a specialist in language translation and communication services for the market research industry, has opened an office in Singapore, where it has appointed Baxter Tan as Executive Director.

Language Connect provides full-service translation, localisation, interpreting, voice over and verbatim coding services from its offices in London, New York, Munich, and Istanbul.

Tan (pictured) joins the new Singapore office to build the firm's offering across Asia. For the past four years, he worked at MR tech firm FocusVision, latterly as Commercial Director, Asia Pacific. Before this, he was Client Development Manager, Asia at Research Now; and Client Services Manager at Nielsen in Australia and Malaysia. In addition, he is the current Treasurer of MRS Singapore and a committee member of the Asia Pacific Research Committee.
