New Reverb Tool Studies Online Reading

February 26 2015

US company Reverb, which develops software for personalization, recommendation and content analysis, has introduced an analytics tool called Reverb Insights, giving publishers an understanding of what people read online and why they read it.

Tony TamThe tool shows which content is trending and what is driving those trends, while defining user segments based on their interests. In addition, it identifies the gaps between content produced and content consumed from a pool of more than 600 million users, to enable publishers to provide more of what users want and less of what they don't.

In addition, Reverb can build a model of a site's audience, which can be used to personalize content recommendations and messages.

CEO and founder Tony Tam (pictured) comments: 'We have developed a unique approach to language, allowing us to understand people through what they read, watch, or buy online. Reverb Insights gives publishers a new way to understand their users, based on this technology. Not only do we understand what users want now, we can predict what they'll want in the future based on the content they've already consumed.'
