Ipsos has brought together its brand communication, advertising and media businesses under a new division called Ipsos Connect, which has replaced legacy brands Ipsos ASI and Ipsos MediaCT.
The combined Ipsos Connect will be led by Yannick Carriou (pictured), who has been the Global Head of both the MediaCT and ASI brands since 2013, having joined the company in 2010 as Country Manager for France. He will report to CEO and Chairman Didier Truchot.
Commenting on the launch, Carriou said: 'In marketing and communications, there are very few topics that are triggering as many client questions as those about the changes in media consumption behaviour. Ipsos Connect aims to be the preferred global partner for companies to measure and amplify how media, brands and consumers connect through compelling content, great communication and relevant media choices.'
In the UK, the new specialism will be officially launched on 2 April. Liz Landy, currently MD of Ipsos MediaCT, will be CEO of the new business, with Caroline Walker, who recently joined from Millward Brown, to lead Ipsos's advertising business as its new MD.
