Research technology and services group FocusVision has acquired Melbourne, Australia-based Insight Marketing Systems, creator of the Research Reporter SaaS platform. The buy is FocusVision's third in the last 12 months, as it seeks to round out its family of research offerings.
Research Reporter is an integrated research management application used by MR teams worldwide to maximise the impact and influence of research as well as improving its quality and efficiency. The package allows users to create, manage, review and collaborate on both qual and quant research, and includes an archive for searching previous work.
Following the acquisitions of MR tool developer Revelation Global last June, and quant MR tech firm Decipher in January this year, FocusVision's solutions now range from research facility video streaming, webcam focus groups and interviews (Intervu) and ethnography streaming (HomeVu) to an online survey platform and mobile device usability studies. With more than 300 employees and offices in the US, the UK, Bulgaria and Singapore, the company says its mission is 'to advance and support worldwide market research by creating one comprehensive research platform'.
