Sprinklr Raises $46m, Expands Enterprise Solution

In the US, social media management specialist Sprinklr has raised $46m to support its expansion into new product markets and geographies. The firm has also launched its 'Experience Cloud' enterprise social media solution.

Ragy ThomasFounded in 2009 and based in New York City, Sprinklr offers a range of social media tools for customer relationship, campaign and audience management, including analytics and reporting. In February, the company acquired community platform specialist Pluck, which offers a suite of capabilities including product ratings, customer reviews and social media log-ins. In addition, last year, the firm bought influencer and advocacy marketing platform Branderati, and social media and brand analytics firm Dachis Group.

Experience Cloud extends Sprinklr's core social media management and content production capabilities, providing brands with a solution for consistent management of the customer journey, from awareness to purchase, across 23 social media channels and brand web sites. CEO Ragy Thomas (pictured) says the solution will allow large brands to deliver customer experiences at every social media touch point.

The new funding round was led by existing investors Battery Ventures, Intel Capital and Iconiq Capital, and brings the total raised to date to $123.5m, including a $40m Series D investment a year ago.
