Webtrends Creates Data Protection Role

In the US, digital analytics specialist Webtrends has promoted Xavier Le Héricy to the newly created role of Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Security and Privacy, charged with developing a consistent approach to client data protection.

Xavier Le HéricyPortland, Oregon-based Webtrends, which also has US offices in San Francisco and Seattle, along with international operations in the UK, Sweden and Australia, provides marketers with analytics tools across mobile, social media and web-enabled devices. Le Héricy (pictured) has been with the company for more than seventeen years, previously served as its Director of Security and Privacy, and in 2011 obtained CIPP certification (Certified Information Privacy Professional). In his new role, he will draw on experience gained while developing the firm's current data protection program.
