Talkwalker Launches 'IQ Apps' Social Media Tools

April 27 2015

European social media monitoring and analytics platform Talkwalker has launched a suite of social media data applications which it says make instant actionable analysis of social media data available to 'every customer facing department in an organization'.

The firm, which opened a New York office in February and hired former Kantar Media exec Todd Grossman as CEO Americas, says the 'IQ Apps' are built on 'powerful, intelligent technology' combined with the expertise of its experienced team, and will allow organizations to make data-driven business decisions. Each tool is geared to a specific area, including crisis communication, social channel analytics (such as campaign effectiveness) and competitive intelligence, giving the relevant managers 'an instant fix on the social perspective' - and the software allows rapid distribution throughout an enterprise.

CEO Robert Glaesener comments: 'Companies are in a race to understand tomorrow's customer. As they turn their attentions to the social world, speed and simplicity are crucial if they have to understand and act on what it tells them... In response, our platform is evolving from 'Do it Yourself' technology, into a 'Do it Together' solution, where managers can share analysis that is increasingly key to company strategy with different departments, and act in unison'.

The company, which has just over 50 employees, is online at www.talkwalker.com .
