OgilvyOne Names First Data Officer in China

WPP-owned direct and interactive marketing network OgilvyOne has appointed Yi Lin as its first Chief Data Officer in China.

Yi LinLin (pictured) takes up her new role with fifteen years' experience spanning CRM, consumer insight and computer science roles in the US and China. Most recently, she served as OgilvyOne's Consulting Director for Data & Insight.

In the new role, Lin will lead teams in both Beijing and Shanghai. Jacco ter Schegget, President of OgilvyOne China, comments: 'With Yi we have found a strong expert to lead further investment in our data capabilities. We have seen good growth in our data offering over the last year, and have forged successful partnerships with the likes of Alibaba and UnionPay. Yi has been building this current team, and is ready for the next phase of this exciting journey'.
